The NOx purification system using urea as a reduction agent is becoming a main current while the regulation of the nitrogen oxide was tightened. This system had issues that it forced users to refill urea and needed the urea tank which occupied the space. HC-SCR catalyst that we have developed is possible to purify NOx that the fuel (HC) is used for the reduction agent and it is excellent in convenience and installing. In addition, we have successfully developed the catalyst with high endurance and excellent NOx purification performance. It has become possible to purify NOx in wide driving range.
Catalysts for DPF
"We have successfully developed a catalyst technology for DPF by forming mesh type catalyst layer (Meshwork Catalyst) on the exhaust gas inlet side of the Diesel Particulate Filter (hereinafter called DPF). We have achieved 68% reduction of particle number (PN) of the particle matter (PM) emissions compared to it of the existing catalyst by PM trapping performance of Meshwork Catalyst. SCR-Filter system catalyst
"The emission standard of the nitrogen oxide (hereinafter called Knox) from the diesel-powered vehicle is not an exaggeration to say the severest regulation in ""Euro 6"". In order to clear the standard that NOx emission has to be reduced 60% compared to it of ""Euro 5"", technology development of the SCR catalyst is required.
