Message of Cataler concept

CATALER was born in 1967, amid a high economic growth.
Our challenge had already begun before the environmental problem was highly publicized,
3 years ahead of the Muskie Act, the Clean Air Act.
We’ve challenged R&D for the catalyst(※) for 50 years and gained world recognition for
our technology and performance.
Our goal is to "Create sustainable recycling society" and "Keep Earth clean for the hopeful children."
Now we are the leading runner in the catalyst industry
and the future that we have pursued is not a "Dream" any more, it is coming "True."
The future for the children all over the world depends on us.
We are not allowed to "Challenge without producing any result" and "Pursue dream that doesn't come true."
We are challenging to development of catalysts with further resolution.

Catalyst mediates the chemical reaction by contacting various substances.
Catalytic component such as the precious metal converts harmful component into harmless component by
the chemical reaction.
The catalyst affects specific chemical reaction speed without changing itself at chemical reaction.

Challenging to the new field
That is the DNA of Cataler.

The only way to deal with the change in society is …
that we ourselves change.
There will be an answer of unknown theme ahead of "New challenge",
not the result of "Growth and Evolution" that are extension of present.
From automobile exhaust field to motorizing field and to global environmental field.
We will keep on challenging to a new field aggressively without satisfying current position and
past successful results.

We aim to develop a new technology gathering our wisdom.
Cross-functional cooperation such as between companies, engineers, generations and borders etc.
will promote engineers' growth and make it possible to develop advanced technology rapidly.
We will take a step into a new field with "Co-creation ability" of engineers all over the world.
